Internet Short Cuts : 25 Must Use Keyboard Shortcuts to Save Time

When we browse the internet we normally use mouse to navigate if you are using a laptop it is not an easy job.So here we are posting some useful Keyboard shortcuts that can be used to save your time. A recent survey says that using Keyboard Shortcuts not only save time but also increases your interest in browsing.These Shortcuts helps us to minimize the usage of mouse.

Here are the Windows keyboard shortcuts. Apart form these below listed shortcuts there are many other Keyboard Shortcuts but here we are only interested in shortcuts for most used functions.

• alt + home :  To go to Browser's Home page.
• alt + D or Ctrl + L : To go to Address bar in Browser.
• Ctrl + Enter : To open the highlighted link in new tab.
• Ctrl + R / F5 :  To Refresh/Reload a web page.
• Ctrl + F : To search content in a web page.
• Ctrl + T : To create a new tab.
• Ctrl + Shift + T : To reopen a recently closed tab.
• Ctrl + Number (1,2... ) : To select a tab from opened tabs. ( Here number indicates tab position ) 
• Ctrl + Shift + Delete : To open delete history window.
• Ctrl + W : To close current tab.
• Ctrl + '+' : To Zoom in. 
• Ctrl + '-' :  To Zoom out.
• Ctrl + Tab : To Switch between tabs.
• Ctrl + H : To view history.
• Ctrl + D : To Bookmark current page.
• Ctrl + N : To open a new window.
• Ctrl + K : To go to search bar in browser.
• Space :  To Scroll Down.
• Shift + Space : To Scroll Up.

• Win + E : To open My Computer.
• Win + M : To Minimize a window.
• Win + D : To show Desktop.
• F2 : To rename the selected.
• Win + L : To Lock Windows.

• Ctrl + Shift + Esc : To launch Task Manager.
• Alt + F4 : To close current window.
• Shift + Delete :  To Permanently delete the Selected.
