The latest update to google maps which makes traffic information available for all national highways and expressways in india. The people who are Drivers and commuters in India will be able to see traffic information for 12 new cities namely, Kolkata, Coimbatore, Lucknow, Surat, Thiruvananthapuram, Indore, Ludhiana, Visakhapatnam, Nagpur, Kochi, Madurai and Bhopal.
This google maps app makes people see real time traffic conditions across a total of 34 cities. The traffic feature will be on both mobile as well as desktop for the users.

Google Maps adds traffic updates for 12 more cities in India:

On enabling the Traffic layer, commuters will see routes mapped out in different colours – green means no traffic delays on the road, orange indicates medium amount of traffic and red stands for heavier traffic congestion.
“We are constantly working on making Google Maps a more comprehensive, daily tool for Indians and we hope that this new real-time traffic information for 12 cities and all national highways will help drivers across the country find the best routes to their destinations with the fewest delays,” Suren Ruhela, director, program management at Google said.

This traffic feature, is available on both mobile and desktop versions of Google Maps. It helps a person to see real time traffic conditions across a total of 34 cities in India.

While in navigation mode, Google Maps will also use real time traffic information to more accurately estimate time of arrival and to provide options for alternate routes if there are faster options available.
Google maps which is an best app for drivers and commuters in India which provides the traffic updates and help in finding the best routes to reach the destination quickly and easily with fewest delays. It is among the series of updates that Google has been releasing for the Maps. Earlier this year, Google rolled out voice enabled lane guidance for 20 Indian cities which is available in English and Hindi for users.
